About Kasunting

Our Story

Kasunting was founded in 2021 in Waynesboro, Virginia, by a small team of home décor enthusiasts who shared a common frustration: the bathroom accessories market had been split into two disappointing extremes. On one end were cheap, hollow plastic dispensers that cracked, faded, and smelled. On the other were prohibitively expensive luxury items that felt more like gallery pieces than tools for daily living. There was almost nothing in between — nothing that was genuinely premium in construction, thoughtfully designed, and reasonably priced for the everyday homeowner who cares about their space.

That frustration became a mission. We asked ourselves: what would a bathroom accessory look like if it were designed without compromise? The answer kept coming back to the same material: glass. Dense, clean, non-porous, odorless, and indefinitely refillable, glass was the natural choice for anyone serious about their bathroom or kitchen aesthetic. But not just any glass — thick, lead-free glass, paired with pumps that wouldn't rust after a season in the bathroom, with a design language that was distinctive without being loud.

The result was our signature vertical-ribbed profile. The ribbing wasn't just aesthetic — it added structural integrity to the glass walls, improved grip when hands were wet, and created an interplay of light and shadow that made each piece look entirely different at different times of day. We spent months refining the geometry of the ribs before arriving at the precise proportions you see today.

Our pump engineering required equal attention. We sourced 304 stainless steel — the same alloy used in professional kitchens and medical facilities — and spent considerable time engineering the sealing mechanism to eliminate the leaks and blowouts that plague cheaper dispensers. Every pump leaves our facility after passing a leak-proof verification test.

The matte black collection launched first, and the response exceeded anything we had anticipated. Customers told us, again and again, that the set made their bathroom feel like a hotel bathroom — that it was one of those purchases that made them feel good every single morning. That feedback drove the development of our white collection with the wood riser tray: a warmer, more organic expression of the same commitment to quality.

Today, Kasunting products are in over 1,200 homes across the United States. We remain a small, focused team in Virginia, and we intend to keep it that way. Every product we add to our collection is deliberated carefully, prototyped extensively, and tested by real people in real bathrooms and kitchens before it ever reaches a customer. We have no interest in growing fast. We have every interest in staying excellent.

We believe that the objects you reach for each morning — the dispenser you press, the holder you reach into, the jar you open — are small but meaningful anchors in your day. They deserve to be beautiful. Kasunting exists to make sure they are.
